Widely used in flammable and explosive gas environments such as oil extraction, refining, chemical industry, offshore oil platforms, and oil tankers, as well as in military, metal processing, and other combustible dust environments;
Principle: The explosion-proof principle of positive pressure ventilation explosion-proof cabinets is based on isolating the ignition source with a medium. This means that all electrical components are housed in a shell filled with a positive pressure clean medium, preventing flammable and explosive gas mixtures from contacting the electrical sparks or dangerous temperatures generated by the components during normal operation, thus achieving the purpose of electrical explosion protection.
PX-type UL explosion-proof control cabinet: Provides positive pressure protection that downgrades the hazard classification of the positive pressure enclosure from Zone 1 to non-hazardous, or from Class 1 (hazardous areas in underground coal mines) to non-hazardous. This product features convenient and reliable automatic control.
This product is available in three types: box-type, cabinet-type, and piano-type, constructed from 304 or 316L stainless steel.
Cabinet-type products are made of high-quality steel plates, bent and welded. The main and auxiliary panels are left-right structures, with cable trench mounting, bottom entry, front door operation, and rear door maintenance.
Box-type products are made of high-quality steel plates with a welded structure. The main and auxiliary panels are upper-lower structures, wall-mounted, with bottom entry, front door operation and maintenance, and can be specially designed according to user requirements.
Box-type products have a relatively smaller positive pressure chamber volume, suitable for centralized control, instrument analysis, programmable logic controllers, single-board industrial control computers, microprocessor control systems, etc.
According to user requirements, it can be used as a matching electrical control box for large equipment, installed and used in conjunction with the overall equipment. Users can choose the appropriate type based on the number of internal electrical components. Choose the appropriate box size; The piano-style product is made of high-quality steel plate folded and welded, with the main and auxiliary panels in a front and rear structure, seat-mounted, bottom-entry, piano-style operation, and rear door for maintenance; The positive pressure cavity of the piano-style product mainly contains field control components, analytical instruments, centralized control, and signal communication, realizing continuous field operation and monitoring. Computers can be added by the user; both cabinet and piano-style products feature quick-opening rear doors for easy installation and maintenance.
Product Overview: The product is equipped with a ventilation interlock. Before operation, the auxiliary panel can only receive power and begin monitoring the main chamber pressure after the main panel has undergone ventilation for the specified time and volume, ensuring that flammable and explosive gases have been expelled. This ensures that electrical components are effectively isolated by a clean medium before operation.
Power will only be supplied to the main chamber by the automatic power switching system in the auxiliary panel when the main chamber pressure meets the specified requirements. The working pressure in the main chamber is 100Pa < P < 800Pa. When the pressure exceeds 800Pa, the automatic control system automatically closes the intake valve or opens the exhaust valve, automatically adjusting the internal pressure to prevent deformation and damage from high-pressure impacts. When the air pressure drops below 100Pa, the automatic control system will automatically alarm (audible and visual) and activate the air intake. It will automatically adjust the internal air supply. If the air supply is successful, it will automatically return to normal. If unsuccessful and the internal air pressure drops to 60Pa, the system can be automatically powered off if necessary. The auxiliary control system provides continuous monitoring and displays the pressure parameters of the main control panel's internal cavity. Multiple units of the same model can be operated in parallel. When providing an air source, users must provide clean or inert gas. Generally, the instrument air source at the user's site can meet the requirements. Gas source pressure is 0.2 - 0.8 MPa.

UL/ETL explosion-proof control cabinet with superior safety standards.
PZ type UL explosion-proof control cabinet
This cabinet reduces the hazard classification of the positive pressure enclosure from Zone 2 to non-hazardous positive pressure protection. Remote alarm signals can be added upon user request.
The product consists of two parts: a main chamber (positive pressure chamber) and a pneumatic control section. The single positive pressure chamber contains the electrical components required by the user, while the control section contains the pneumatic components for positive pressure control.
Depending on the size of the enclosure, the components of the positive pressure control section can be placed on the top, side, or bottom of the enclosure.
This product is available in three forms: box-type, cabinet-type, and piano-type. Box-type products are generally wall-mounted, with the positive pressure control section and positive pressure chamber arranged vertically. Cabinet-type products use a high-quality steel plate welded structure and are generally installed using cable trench mounting. Bottom-entry cable; Piano-style products are made of high-quality steel plates, bent and welded, and are generally installed in a pedestal position with bottom-entry cable. Cabinet and piano-style products have front and rear doors; the front door is for user electrical operating components, and the rear door is for maintenance. This product directly uses compressed air to achieve automatic process control, without the need for an external control power supply, ensuring safety and reliability. Stainless steel 304 or 316L can be used according to user requirements.
Features
Designed specifically for Zone 2 applications, this positive pressure explosion-proof cabinet indicates the air exchange time and flow rate. It is equipped with safety devices such as throttle valves and safety valves, and uses pneumatic control. Users should follow the prompts for corresponding debugging and operation. When the internal air pressure is below 100 Pa, the automatic control system will automatically alarm (audible and visual). If air replenishment is successful, it will automatically return to normal. If unsuccessful and the internal air pressure drops to 60 Pa, the system will not automatically shut off the power but will continue to alarm, reminding the user to handle the air circuit fault and restore the pressure. The PZ type positive pressure cabinet is suitable for dry... Suitable for Zone 2 explosive gas environments or Zone 22 combustible dust environments;
The PX type positive pressure cabinet is suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas environments and Zone 1 or Zone 21 and Zone 22 combustible dust environments;
The product has no main or auxiliary panels and uses pneumatic components for control. The control system includes a pressure reducing valve, gas source pressure gauge, positive pressure chamber pressure gauge, reversing valve, and exhaust valve;
Through precise calculation and design of the corresponding control gas path size and specifications, the positive pressure control is accurate and reliable. This is a new generation of positive pressure explosion-proof product developed by our company. Users can perform ventilation operations according to the prompts. After ventilation is completed, power can be supplied to the cabinet. During normal operation, the pressure is between 200Pa and 600Pa. When the pressure exceeds 1000Pa, the safety valve automatically opens to exhaust gas and automatically adjusts the internal air pressure to ensure that the product is not deformed or damaged by high-pressure impact. When the pressure is below 100Pa, the pneumatic indicator light alarms. In case of gas source failure, the internal pressure of the cabinet will be reduced. When the pressure remains too low for an extended period, the upstream power supply should be disconnected.
The positive pressure control section continuously monitors and displays the pressure parameters within the positive pressure chamber.
Continuous air supply ensures that the heat generated by the electrical components within the positive pressure chamber is carried away, providing excellent heat dissipation. The internal components can house detection instruments, analytical instruments, display instruments, low-voltage electrical appliances, frequency converters, soft pneumatic actuators, computers, etc. The entire unit can function as a starting, control, central signal processing, and control system. Multiple units of the same model can be connected in parallel.
When providing an air source, users must provide clean air or inert gas. Generally, on-site instrument air sources can meet the requirements, with a pressure of 0.2MPa~0.8MPa.
The outer casing can be made of welded stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and suitable for applications requiring high corrosion resistance in petroleum, chemical, and shipbuilding environments.
