◉ Product Details

The ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) fully automatic dual-power system cabinet is an intelligent device integrating an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and power management functions. It is primarily used to seamlessly switch to a backup power supply in the event of a primary power failure, ensuring continuous power supply to critical loads. Its core function is to achieve automatic power detection, switching, and protection, and it is widely used in scenarios with extremely high power continuity requirements, such as data centers, hospitals, and industrial production lines.

Technical Principles and Composition: The ATS fully automatic dual-power system cabinet typically consists of an ATS controller, a dual-power switching device, a monitoring module, and protection circuitry. The ATS controller monitors parameters such as voltage and frequency of the primary and backup power supplies in real time. When an anomaly is detected in the primary power supply (such as overvoltage, undervoltage, or phase loss), it automatically triggers the switching mechanism to transfer the load to the backup power supply. The switching process is rapid (typically within milliseconds), avoiding equipment downtime or data loss due to power interruptions. Some high-end models also support remote monitoring and fault warnings, further enhancing system reliability.

Application Scenarios and Advantages:

Data Centers: In server clusters, ATS ensures uninterrupted power supply, preventing service interruptions caused by power failures.

* **Medical Industry:** Operating rooms, ICUs, and other similar settings rely on stable power. The dual-power switching capability of an ATS provides double protection for life support equipment.

* **Industrial Automation:** PLCs, robots, and other equipment on production lines are sensitive to power fluctuations. An ATS can reduce production downtime caused by power outages.

* **Commercial Buildings:** In shopping malls and office buildings, an ATS ensures the normal operation of critical facilities such as fire protection systems and emergency lighting.

**Industry Standards and Selection Considerations:** According to GB/T 14048.11-2016 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 6: Multifunctional electrical appliances - Automatic transfer switching devices," an ATS must pass type testing to ensure that switching time, withstand voltage, and other indicators meet requirements. The following parameters should be considered when selecting a model:

* **Rated Current:** Select based on load power, such as 100A, 200A, etc.

* **Switching Time:** Prioritize models with a switching time ≤100ms to reduce the risk of equipment downtime.

• Protection Functions: Must include overload, short circuit, and undervoltage protection; some models also support phase sequence monitoring.

• Communication Interfaces: Supports RS485, Modbus, and other protocols for easy integration into a building management system (BMS).

• Compliance Standards: Meets relevant certification standards such as ETL, UL, CE, CSA, and IEC.

Supporting Equipment and Expansion Functions: ATS systems are often used in conjunction with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), generators, and other equipment to form a multi-level power protection system. For example, in the event of a main power failure, the ATS first switches to UPS power; if the UPS power is insufficient or faulty, it then switches to generator power. Some ATS systems also support linkage with smart meters for energy consumption monitoring and optimization. The ATS fully automatic dual power system cabinet adopts a lithium battery design, supports OEM customization, achieves an efficiency of 91%, and features multiple protections including short circuit and overload.

The ATS automatic transfer switch cabinet consists of control elements and circuit breakers, allowing for manual or automatic power supply control. It has a simple structure and is easy to operate, making it easy for operators to learn how to use. Its functions can meet the needs of various users. The switchgear can be used for power on/off switching of generator sets, as well as for other power distribution equipment.

For power systems with strict requirements regarding power interruption, an automatic mains/generator set switching system (ATS) should be used. The ATS can achieve fully automatic switching between two power sources. When the main power supply fails or malfunctions, the backup power supply automatically switches on, and when the main power supply is restored, it automatically switches back to the main power supply.

If the original power supply system is mains, when the mains power fails, or there is a three-phase loss or undervoltage, the automatic switching system immediately and automatically starts the generator set. After the generator starts and runs, the load is supplied with power once the voltage and frequency are normal. When the mains power is restored, it automatically switches back to mains power supply, with a delay before shutting down the generator set.

If the original power supply system is a generator set, when the generator set malfunctions and stops, the automatic switching system immediately cuts off the generator set's power supply and automatically switches back to mains power supply. This achieves rapid power system recovery and unattended operation, thus maintaining normal power supply.
